Solange Knowles -zus van- is best een bikkel. Vlak voordat ze opmoest voor haar concert in Kansas City, viel er backstage een stuk metaal uit de coulissen bovenop haar voet. Dat deed behoorlijk pijn, maar Solange ging toch door en deed haar hele set van de show.
Na afloop zijn ze snel naar het ziekenhuis vertrokken en daar bleek haar voet gebroken! De bikkelzus laat haar toernee ook gewoon doorgaan. Zij heeft niet alleen in het ziekenhuis, maar ook echt bij ons een wit voetje gehaald…

Aiaiai wat zagen ze er goed uit, de dames Knowles. Tijdens de opening van club 40/40 van hubbie Jay-Z, waren de ogen niet op de club gericht, maar op de diva’s. Jay-Z zag er ook wel goed uit in zijn smoking, maar niemand neemt het publiek en pers kwalijk dat ze naar B. en S. stonden te lensen.

Jay-Z speechte: “I just want everyone to have a good time and not get caught up in the whole glitzy pretentious clubbing thing. But I’m up for a big night, and a big year next year. Good things are gonna happen.”

Dit stond er in het persbericht en dit legt ook gelijk uit waar de naam 40/40 vandaan komt:

Maar wij kijken gewoon naar Beyoncé op de rode loper!

Beyoncé gaat (voorlopig) niet aan de kinderen. Alhoewel ze zelfs verloofd schijnt te zijn met Jay-Z, denkt ze dat ze de eisen die het moederschap stelt nu niet aankan. Ze zegt hierover:
‘I think I have a long way to go before I’d be able to handle looking after a child. I probably will have a baby one day, but not for a while.’

Beyoncé, 25 jaar oud, gaf onlangs toe dat het bijwonen van de bevalling van haar zus Solange haar achter de oren heeft doen krabben. Solange’s zoon Daniel is inmiddels 3 jaar oud, en Beyoncé vond het erg zwaar om hem ter wereld te zien komen. Ze zei hierover:
‘I was there when Solange gave birth and I swear it was enough to put anyone off for life! The doctors had to give me drinks because I was turning purple. It was crazy but, at the same time, quite beautiful. When I was watching I thought, “I’m never going to have a baby“. But now, when I see my nephew, I think he’s the best thing in the world. He’s so cute and clever - I love him so much.’
